Masculine vs. feminine nouns
Unit 3 has brought the class back to the basics of content, with a focus on how to differentiate whether words take the masculine ("el") or feminine ("la") definite article (English translation: "the"). Below are the resources we used:

This is the document we used to take notes on the
10 rules that help us determine whether a noun is masculine or feminine. Students should have these all written in their notebooks, along with the examples and the meanings of those examples. Most rules also have exceptions to the rule; exceptions should also be noted. Below, everyone's favorite Señor Jordan guides us through these 10 rules, while providing more examples and exceptions. Students were asked to write one additional word for an example and an exception where applicable.

A Spanish Halloween
